Windows and AC:
AC does cost you gas. Roll down the windows and save your gas. Some people say having your windows down on the highway will create more drag and cost you gas. I guess this could be possible and would depend on the car, but I do not believe any of it. Just having the AC connected can cause a loss of power, so many performance drivers remove the AC-it is also pretty heavy.
Keep it steady and smooth:
Stop and go will eat you gas. Take the smother drive even if it is the longer way. You will save much more gas. Don't slam on your brakes and accelerate slowly for a hill in advance. Backing up your car is also just as bad as stopping and going and stopping and going.
Use common sense:
It is pretty easy to save gas. Use common sense and you may even find more ways you can save even more gas.
